tĭthymălus ( tĭthymallus ), i, m., = tithumalos, a plant with a milklike sap, spurge (Euphorbia, Linn.), of many species, Plin. 26, 8, 39, § 62; App. Herb. 108; Ser. Samm. 46, 841; 64, 1106.—A female species, called tĭthymălis, ĭdis, sea-spurge: Euphorbia paralias, Linn.; Plin. 26, 8, 41, § 68.
